After

48-year-old woman. Emergency: fractured crown and root caries.

We explain to the patient that the suitable treatment involves extracting the tooth and placing an implant and a provisional resin-made crown.  She is diagnosed with mild receding papillae.

Three months after the surgery, the resin-made crown is replaced by a metal-porcelain crown screwed and placed on implant in the left lateral incisor.

The papillae, which were previously slightly receded, maintain their shape and volume.
