Orthodontic extrusion to regenerate papillae + Immediate implants + Aesthetic prosthesis
After
Young woman with displaced fixed crowns and suffering from periodontal disease with papillae loss, evidenced by the black spaces in the anterior superior area.
As a first step, the crowns are replaced by provisional crowns made of resin.
An anti-infective periodontal treatment is conducted and, afterwards, a slow orthodontic extrusion until the desired symmetry and harmony of the gingival borders have been reached.
The right upper-central incisor and the left upper canine (baby tooth) are extracted, and immediate implants with provisional crowns are placed.
Six months later, final zirconium-porcelain crowns are placed on the implants, and porcelain crowns on the other anterior teeth.

- After the orthodontic treatment, the right upper-central incisor is extracted in response to severe root caries, and an immediate implant is placed.
The same procedure applies to the left canine.
