Wisdom teeth may get impacted during their eruption. In this case, they do not develop correctly and cause pain. The impacted tooth does not erupt appropriately from the bone or the gum line.
Usually, this problem arises from a lack of space, causing the tooth to stay blocked in different positions.
Today, around 90% of the population has a molar in this situation. The impacted wisdom tooth might cause different problems in the patient’s mouth.
