That reabsorption can be greatly reduced with simultaneous placement of a bone graft after implant installation. The bone graft placed in these cases isn't obtained from the same patient (autograft)but obtained from another animal species after a sterilization process (xenograft). That's how bone graft have the advantage of being a traumatic, faster and biological surgery this type of graft has a lower percentage of re-absorption and thus greatly reduces the depression of the gum surrounding the implant. Normally after the bone graft we add an gum graft that completely reconstructs and in fact often increases the contour of the alveolar crest even more and give our regresations a completely natural look, which is one of the best treatment targets when we do implantological treatment in the aesthetic area.
