Multidisciplinary case. The young patient had already lost two teeth in the upper arch (on the right side, first premolar and first molar) and she had a temporary canine (baby canine) with caries and mobility, which was about to be lost.
The final canine that should replace it was impacted inside the bone.
In the lower arch, the right canine was also impacted.
She had skeletal class III malocclusion and deviation of the inferior midline to the left, with diminished crossbite and overbite.
The treatment plan involved creating room for an implant in 16, mesialization in 15, extracting 44 and traction of both impacted canines.
The midline was centred, both canine teeth were guided to their original place and the sagittal-vertical relation was improved.
