When do I have to conduct my first dentist's visit?
The first visit should be as soon as the first teeth appear. In adults, visits should be at least once a year for regular checks.
What about a regular dental examination?
During a routine review, we have an assessment of your teeth and gums's health, we have been looking for signs of caries or periodontal disease and we have been able to do a cleanup to remove plaque and frying.
How often should I come to the dentist?
The ideal thing is to visit the dentist every 6 months for a review and cleanup. The frequency, however, may vary with your oral and specialist's recommendations.
What's periodontal disease and how's it treated?
Periodontal disease is an infection of the gums that can cause teeth loss if it isn't treated in time. Treatment includes profound cleanliness, scrape and atricular smoothing and, in more advanced cases, periodontal surgery.
Orthodontics treatment is for children only?
No, Orthodontics treatments are for every age. Currently, many adult people choose to improve the alignment of their teeth with discreet options such as ceramic brackics or transparent alignment.
What can I do to prevent caries?
To prevent caries, it's vital to brush your teeth at least twice a day, to use dental thread, to restrict sugars and to visit the dentist regularly for cleanliness and checks.
Is it normal for them to bleed their gums while brushing me?
No, gum bleeding can be a sign of periodontal disease or gingivitis. If you have regular bleeding, it's important that we check to avoid a worse problem.
