dental phlema That's what's called an abscess, an accumulation of pus that's caused by a bacterial infection.
Types of Abscess or Dental Flemon
Depending on the tissues to which it affects
Gingival abscess: affects gums
Periodontal abscess: affects the periodite (tooth support tissue). It usually occurs in patients with periodontal disease (periodontitis or piorrhea)
Periapical abscess: affects the pulp of the tooth, usually as a result of a caries that have penetrated up to the vital part of the tooth, or as a result of a trauma leading to a rupture or fissure through which bacteria penetrate.
Signs and Symptoms of Teeth Flemon
Pain: It's the main alarm sign. It's usually sharp, intense, with a sudden start and with an increasing intensity, and can be radiated to other areas as the ear, jaw and neck.
Sensitivity to cold and heat
Mouth bad taste
If the infection spreads, it may also cause:
Fever
Trismus (difficulties opening your mouth)
Dysphagia(chewing)
Flaming face
Inflammation of the lymph nodes of the jaw or neck
These symptoms can be serious, in these cases if they cannot contact your dentistyou have to get to the ER.
Treatment of dental flam
Due to the first symptoms of dental phlema It's important to treat them as they can cause destruction of the surrounding bone tissue. At times after an initial acute phase, pain ceases by passing by (from the vital part of the tooth). We should not be "deceived" by this apparent improvement as the infection persists. A "fistula" can also occur, a draining path that enables the body itself to give out the accumulated pus, bringing down the inflammation and only an enamour ball or a white tiptito. The treatment of dental phlema will be aimed at eliminating the infection. A small incision may be required to drain the pus or an endodontics, a procedure by which sick tissue is extracted from the inside of the tooth. In other cases, an extraction of the piece and, depending on the extent of the infection, pharmacological treatment with antibiotics may be necessary.
Proof of dental flam
A dental phlema titrated at a good time, however, if it isn't treated, it can lead to complications: from tooth loss to potentially fatal infections.
